Beamshield EPS insulation units replace the concrete blocks to provide total floor insulation and a layer on which to lay the structural concrete topping. Beamshield Plus units have the extended toe section to insulate below the beams, whilst the Beamshield Top Sheet infill units are designed to be used with the top sheet to provide improved Psi-value junction detail, by way of a continuous layer of insulation above the beams.<\/span><\/p>\n

Beamshield Infill Top Sheet system comprises 5 components in either White or Platinum EPS, with the Platinum grade giving an improved thermal performance.<\/p>\n

The components are made up of Starter \/ End units, Full units, Half units, Variable Width Boards and Top Sheets.<\/p>\n

The End Units in the Beamshield Infill range are used for both the start and end of the Beamshield system installation.<\/p>\n

The Variable Width Boards (VWB) can be used with Beamshield Infill units in conjunction with the Beamshield Top Sheet and are used to suit beam spacing of no wider than 350mm. Variable Width Boards can be supplied as a bespoke board or cut from Beamshield Top Sheets providing the Top Sheet thickness is between 75mm and 100mm.<\/p>\n

The Beamshield Infill units and Variable Width Boards are 1200mm long and may be cut (to a minimum of 300mm length) to accommodate varying beam lengths and should be positioned at the floor edges.<\/p>\n
